I've started working on a new collection brooches featuring the astrological constellations. Astrology has been one of my passions for many years and I've been looking for an idea that would link astrology to jewellery, without it being to obvious or too cheesy. What I like about these brooches is that they are abstract and yet have so much meaning (as much meaning as you are prepared to give them).

I am trying to use as much as possible the gemstones that correspond to each sign. Here, for ARIES, I used 2mm and 2.5mm, brilliant cut cubic Zirconia, a more affordable replacement for diamonds (Aries corresponding gemstone).

The ARIES pin measured roughly 55 x 38 mm (2.1 x 1.5 inches).


This brooch is ready to ship and will arrive beautifully packed in a black box.
