I am an independent accessories and jewellery designer living in Belgium. Trained as a fashion designer, I discovered almost by accident how amazing working with metal can be and I felt instantly at home in this new medium; I started taking silver-smithing classes and a few years later I created Vdeux / V2. I make jewellery as a way of aesthetically exploring subjects and ideas that move and fascinate me. Recurring themes in my work are: the soul of beautiful old objects, childhood memories, our ancestors, the ice age, nature, the night sky and the star constellations.
